Events

Support Group for Separated and Divorced began Oct. 2, 2025 New Beginnings is an 8-week program that provides the opportunity to heal and move forward despite a complicated situation. Led by facilitators who have been through their own personal losses, this program invites participants to move toward their own new beginnings. Registration is required. PLEASE NOTE: the are no remaining dates available for 2025 Mass intentions. 2026 MASS INTENTIONS book is open for scheduling. In order to give the opportunity for all parishioners to schedule a Mass intention for their loved ones and to accommodate recently deceased individuals, one weekend and one weekday per month for each deceased may be requested. We appreciate your understanding in this policy. To secure a reservation and/or place an ad, please contact the office directly. During November, parishioners can memorialize loved ones in the Book of the Departed. The book is located on the ambo near Mary. 

REMINDER: Sunday, November 9th @ 11:00 a.m. Eucharistic Ministry Training.

Join us for Bible Study—Monday, November 10th @ 6:30 p.m. SUBJECT: Conversion of Saul.

REMINDER: Tuesday, November 11th @6:30 p.m. Spirit Sisters will meet for a pot luck supper, fellowship and prayer. Please join us.

REMINDER: Wednesday, November 12th, Parish Council Mtg. @ 5:00 p.m.

Please join us on our Walking Warriors walk this Saturday November 15th. We will meet in the Church parking lot at 9:00a.m.

MIDDLE/HIGH YOUTH—our next mtg. is Sunday, November 16th @ 6:00 p.m.

REMINDER: There will be a second collection taken the weekend of Nov. 29-30, 2025. The purpose is to provide funds for the much needed upgrades to the Parish Rectory. To date, a new HVAC system is being installed and bathroom remodels are planned.

Put Saturday, December 6, 2025, on your calendars! Our Annual Christmas Bazaar will be held from 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. We need to pull together as a parish to make this event a success! Thanks all! 

Food Bank Donations: The Food Bank request for November is green beans and pork 'n beans. Thank you for your generosity and support of our local food bank.

We Hope to Bring Back the Precious Blood to Our Eucharistic Celebration! Father Joe is planning to reintroduce the distribution of the Precious Blood at Mass. This goal is to begin the First Week of Advent as we enter the new liturgical year. To move forward, we need volunteers to serve as Eucharistic Ministers—ideally two for each Mass. If you feel called to serve in this important ministry, please contact Adriana Haas (ahaas@stedwardky.org). Your
participation could help restore this sacred element of our Eucharistic worship. Thank you for your prayerful consideration! 


SCHOOL NEWS

Our last Dairy Queen night for the fall semester is Monday Nov 10th from 5-8. It’s looking like a cold one (possibly some snow flurries)! Be sure to come out, eat and get a blizzard!! Thank you to everyone that has signed up and helped this fall. 

Monday, November 17th—Butter Braid orders arrive. Please pick up in the cafeteria after 3:15 p.m.

REMINDER: NO SCHOOL—November 26th-28th—Thanksgiving Break.
